    Dr Jennifer David

    Veterinarian

    Dr. David has been at the Animal Hospital since her graduation from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She is a native of Shreveport and now resides in West Monroe.  Her husband Blair is the principal of St. Fredericks High School. Dr David has 3 children. Her older son is in graduate school at ULL, her daugher is a senior at LSU, and her younger son is a senior at WMHS.  She has three rescue dogs and two cats.

    Dr. Bob Bell

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Bell graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at LSU in 1988. He is a long time resident of Monroe.  Dr. Bell left solo practice to join the Animal Hospital in 1997.  He and his wife Michelle have one son who attended LSU and was a member of the marching band.  Dr Bell's family includes Buddy the dachshund, 2 cats, and 2 rescue dogs.

    Dr. Jennifer Ratliff

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Ratliff joined the Animal Hospital immediately after graduating from Mississippi State University in 2009.  She moved to north Louisiana from southern Mississippi and currently resides in Ruston with her husband, Jason, and their two sons, and Titan the labrador.  Dr Ratliff currently works full time at the Animal Emergency Clinic and works on Mondays and Wednesdays at Animal Hospital

    Bette Jones

    Receptionist      

    Bette graduated from the University of Miami and ULM.  She has been a member of the Animal Hospital team since 1979.  Bette has trained and shown her dogs in obedience, rally, and agility, and is currently involved in pet therapy with her Miniature Schnauzer, Andy.  Bette has one son who is a marine biologist.  She lives in West Monroe with her three dogs, L.C., Andy, and Onyx.

    Phyllis Adams

    Practice Manager

    Phyllis became a member of our team in October 2011.  She resides in Calhoun with her husband and 4 children.  She has 4 rescued dogs, Pickles, Casper, Toby, and Jax.  She spoils us with treats through the week.  Phyllis is our newly appointed practice manager and will be happy to help with any needs

    Annette Townsend

    Surgical Technician

    Annette has been at the Animal Hospital since May 1990.  She was raised here in West Monroe and has two wonderful sons.  She serves as our surgical technician.  She has a sweet dog, Sophie.

    Connie Spears

    Treatment Technician

    Connie has been with the Animal Hospital since August 1996. Connie fills in as a surgical technician as well as our treatment room technician. She and her husband have three children and eight. Connie raises and trains her own horses.  She also has two cats and six dogs

    Heather Humble

    Assistant      

    Heather joined our team in September 2010.  Heather also fills in as our treatment room technician.  She can be found in feline boarding reading a book or cuddling a cat in the clinic.  She and her husband, Courtney, have 4 cats of their own, Zeus, Sunshine, Killer, and Friday.

  • Kelsie Sturdivant

    Assistant          

    Kelsie started while in high school in July 2013.  She is now studying nursing at ULM. She adopted a sweet kitty named Patrick and an elderly dog named Cybil. She also has a ferret named Sissy.
