    Dr. Jennifer David

    Dr. David has been at the Animal Hospital since her graduation from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She is a native of Shreveport and now resides in West Monroe. Her husband, Blair, is a professor at ULM. Dr. David has three children, three rescue dogs, and two cats.

  • Dr. Bob Bell

    Dr. Bell graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at LSU in 1988. He is a long time resident of Monroe. Dr. Bell left solo practice to join the Animal Hospital in 1999. He and his wife Michelle have a son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. His family also includes a  cat and two rescue dogs.

  • Dr. Caitlin Bell

    Dr. Bell graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.  While there, she was a caretaker of LSU's mascots, Mike VI and Mike VII, lovingly known as Mike the Tiger.  A native of the West Monroe area, Dr Bell returned home to begin her career. Her daughter was born in July 2021.   Other than her beloved rescues, Dale and Fancy, she and her husband Jake share their space with two cats, Bonnie and Clyde, a horse, and a small herd of cattle. In case you were wondering, Dr Caitlin Bell and Dr Bob Bell are not related at all.

  • Dr Sara Beth Ochoa

    Dr. Ochoa joined our family in 2023.  Raised in Calhoun, La. she attended La. Tech for her undergraduate training, then attended St. George university for her DVM.  Dr Ochoa settled in Tyler, Tx after graduation where she met her husband, Greg.  They have one son born in 2022.  Luckily for us they decided to return to West Monroe and join our team.  Her family shares their home with their poodle cross Ruby, and Japanese Chin Bug.  Dr Ochoa has a special passion for exotic pets such as rabbits, birds, reptiles, and pocket pets.

  • Phyllis Adams

        Practice Manager

    Phyllis became a member of our team in 2011. She worked as a receptionist before being appointed practice manager. She lives in Calhoun with her husband and their four rescued dogs; Pickles, Harley, Casper, and Toby. Phyllis and her husband are happy and thankful to have all of their amazing children residing nearby. She often spoils us with treats throughout the week.  

  • Connie Spears

        Treatment & Surgical Tech, Veterinarian Assistant 

    Connie has been with the Animal Hospital since 1996. Though she is mainly a treatment technician, she also serves as a surgical tech and vet assistant when needed. She and her husband, Wallace, have three children and nine grandchildren. Connie raises and trains her own horses. She currently has 4 dogs, 2 cats, 13 goats, a lot of chickens, and 3 horses - one of which is a miniature. 

  • Lee Ann Guimbellot

        Receptionist

    Lee Ann has been at the Animal Hospital since the summer of 2016. She was raised in West Monroe where she currently lives with her husband, Edward, and their two dogs, Clyde and Bonnie Leigh. She has two children and three beautiful granddaughters. 

  • Kris Glass

        Receptionist

    Kris became a member of our team in the summer of 2017. She has three fur babies - Bailey, Baxter, and Bella. In her free time Kris enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
  • Paige Stephens

        Receptionist

    Paige joined our team in June 2017. She was raised in Winnsboro and settled in West Monroe where she lives with her husband and daughter. She has two dogs - Jay and Evie. When not spending time with family and friends, you can usually find Paige with her fur babies curled up in her lap.
  • Sarah Armstrong

        Receptionist

    Sarah started working here in February of 2018. She lives in Downsville and has two beautiful children. She also has two adorably rotten Maltese, Opal and Murray, and an equally spoiled Schnauzer named Benny. Sarah enjoys cooking, singing, and hanging out with family and friends.
  • Ashley Goodling

        Receptionist 

    Ashley has been with us since the summer of 2020. She moved here from Mobile, Alabama in 2014. She currently resides in West Monroe with her husband and daughter. The family shares their home with a cur dog that keeps everyone on their toes. Ashley spends all of her free time with her family.
  • Katelyn Young

    Treatment & Surgical Tech, Veterinarian Assistant

    Katelyn started working at the Animal Hospital in August of 2017. Though she works as our treatment room technician, she also covers as a surgery tech and vet assistant. Katelyn lives in Start with her husband, three cats and three dogs - two of which she adopted through the clinic. 
  • Bradley Lofton

    Surgical Tech, Veterinarian Assistant 

    Bradley joined the AH team in October of 2018. Through work and a mutual love of animals, Bradley met his fiancée, Cheyanne, here. The couple shares their home with 7 dogs and 3 cats. When a homeless animal in need comes to the clinic, they are always among the first to offer it a loving home. Somehow the couple always manages to find room for 'one more'.
  • Nataly Milstead

        Veterinarian Assistant, Treatment Tech, Kennel Worker 

    Nataly became a member of our team in March of 2020. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Nataly now lives in West Monroe with her husband, Allen. The couple shared their home with three dogs - Eevee, Zoey, and Chewie -  before opening their door to Presley & Bailey, two very fortunate canines that joined the family after being adopted from the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter.
  • Cheyanne Sturdivant

        Veterinarian Assistant, Treatment Tech, Kennel Worker

    Cheyanne started working at the Animal Hospital in September of 2016. She was born and raised in West Monroe where she currently lives with her fiancé, Bradley. Between the two of them, they care for seven dogs and three cats. All of their cats and 5 of their dogs are rescues they acquired through the Animal Hospital.
  • Brooke Wells

    Kennel Worker, Veterinarian Assistant

    Brooke joined the team in August of 2021. Before coming here, Brooke was an active member of "River Cities Humane Society for Cats" for almost thirteen years, where she eventually worked her way up to director. Though she loves all animals, she is especially passionate about cats. Brooke and her wife, Ashley, share their home with 2 Labs - Jake & Roux, and a Pekingese named Max. Completing their fur family are the members of the "Kitty Krewe" - Bailey, Owens, L.V., and Tyrion.
  • Alexis McGrew

        Kennel Worker, Veterinarian Assistant

    Alexis has been working part-time at the Animal Hospital since July of 2020. She has one dog - Ginger - that she adopted through the clinic. A native of the area, Alexis graduated from West Ouachita High School and currently attends Louisiana Tech in Ruston. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Alexis plans to attend LSU where she will earn her degree in Veterinarian Medicine.
  • Kendall Wilder

    Kennel Worker, Veterinarian Assistant

    Kendall started working part-time at the clinic in August of 2021. Born and raised in West Monroe, she graduated from West Monroe High School before enrolling in Louisiana Tech. Kendall's pre-vet studies will prepare her to, one day, attend a School of Veterinary Medicine. Her ultimate goal is to "become a great DVM" so she'll be able to apply her knowledge and skills to help many needy animals. Currently, Kendall cares for two cats - Mittens & Gracie, and a chihuahua named Odie.
  • Loki

    Loki is a pit bull cross that came to Animal Hospital in June of 2020.  He serves as our morale ambassador on a daily basis.  He also donates blood to severely ill dogs in their time of need.  Loki has saved many lives since joining our family.  His interests include running fast, digging holes, eating, belly rubs, and spending time with his buddy Thor.
  • Stark

    Stark came to Animal Hospital in August 2021.  Stark serves as our stress control manager.  He also donates blood to severely ill cats.  He has saved several lives since joining our team.  Stark enjoys staring out the window and supervising all activities.  He is an excellent listener when life gets tough.
